Designed for groups of up to 10, this advanced accredited eco tour takes visitors to a secluded beach to view little penguins waddling ashore to their sand dune burrows. Things to know before you go- • You need to be able to walk 1.5km in the dark, over rocky/sandy ground. Climb 20+ stairs • Sit quietly on mats on the sand for a long period of time. Mat supplied • Must wear shoes with closed in back and toes, also have ankle support with soles that grip. • Includes Free?small hot drink or bottle of water at the Boardwalk Cafe • We supply waterproof jacket and over pants but you may bring your own if you prefer (these need to be dark and non reflective) • Tour time approximately 2 hours • The tour departs approx. 1 hour before penguins arrival time. You need to ring 24 hours prior for the exact meeting time • No late arrivals will be permitted to join the tour • In extreme weather or high tide an alternative tour is offered • Commentary in English only • 10 guests only • Bookings essential NO FILMING OR PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED
