Churchill Island holds an important place in Victoria’s history. On the National Heritage Register, it is the site of Victoria’s first crops and European buildings in 1801. Today, Churchill Island features historic buildings, working farm with animal nursery, heritage gardens and walking tracks. The Visitor Centre provides information on the island’s fascinating history and the fully refurbished house and cottages can give you an insight into how life once was.
